The Bresser Mirror Telescope 130/650 with EQ3 mount is a bright Newton mirror telescope (also called a reflector telescope). The more experienced astronomer will know that illumination is a more important factor than magnification. These people will appreciate the large 130 mm mirror, this allows a significant amount of light to be collected and reflected. You will be able to view distant objects in the solar system in detail with ease. The 130 mm aperture and a focal length of 650 mm with a bright focal ratio of f/5.0 still provide a nice tight image at a maximum magnification of 260x.

The EQ-3 mount is strong and solid. By using the included barlow lens, one can achieve greater magnifications. The focal length of the telescope will then be tripled.
